Another one of these!?

I've been wanting to do another product review, but have run out of wonderful things to write about. Until now. I was sitting at my computer looking through Facebook and other social media sites, and remembered... I'm wearing my hair curly today! I should tell everyone the products I use when I wear my hair curly. Yeah, I don't know how surfing the web and curly hair came about in the same train of thought...

My hair stylist friend, Jamie, introduced me to Deva Curl (dee-va). I was leery about it at first because I tend to not like anything curl related. Everything I've tried in the past leaves my hair crunchy and heavy. I like the way my curls look natural and airy (albeit sometimes frizzy, but I don't want crunchy hair!) When I first tried Deva Curl I didn't like it. However, the more I use it and the more I get used to it I looooove it!
I use DevaCare Low-Poo Cleanser, DevaCare One-Condition, and DevaCurl B'Leave-In. The Cleanser doesn't lather up like traditional shampoos, but still has a little bit. The No-Poo cleanser doesn't lather up at all. I don't rub it in like most shampoos either. I use it like I do conditioner. The One-Condition is thick and creamy and I apply it like a normal conditioner, but don't rinse all of it out. The B'Leave-In is a curl booster and is water soluble. Using all these products together makes my hair soft, super curly, and mostly frizz free.

I am starting to twiddle my thumbs...

... and not just because I'm getting bored with the stay-at-home mommy life. That's not it at all. I love being at home and able to watch my wonderful 3 year old grow into her personality. However, I want to be able to use my time more wisely. I want to become involved with something that's productive, revolutionary, and will make a difference. Even if it's on a very small scale. I wish I could get plugged in to anything to do with music or choir at Friends University. Or the Alumni Association there. Maybe I could even help with the Alumni Directory at Bethel. I've also thought about becoming involved with Natural Family Planning through St. Francis. The problem is, I don't know where to start or who to contact. The easiest project would be with Bethel, but I don't know if they need/want my help or if what I want to do is even relevant.

How do I use my free time more wisely without giving up the stay-at-home mom life?
