I guess the most exciting thing that has happened recently is we bought our first house and closed 2 weeks ago! The day after we closed my father-in-law and I started work immediately. By the following Monday it was completely torn up... down to the sheetrock and subfloors. Now we're trying to get the painting done before we have all the fun stuff installed. All new flooring, tile, vanity tops, kitchen countertops, appliances. The whole nine yards. The thing I'm most excited about is my kitchen backsplash. It's goooorgeous and will add so much visual interest in our neutral house.

I have been dealing with a very cranky and attitude-y 3 year old recently. She has a molar coming in and it has been hell. I thought a teething infant was bad, but I think I'd take one of those over a teething toddler with a mind of her own any day. She hasn't been eating, she's been running a fever, and her attitude has been off the charts. Lord, help me.
Other than our new house and dealing with Claire my life hasn't had anything exciting or interesting happen. My life is boring, I know.
